NYC CONFERENCE BOUND
Only three more wake-ups until Friday, when I fly to NYC to attend the SCBWI Conference! The best part about this trip is I will be attending with my amazing and talented beta gals...
This won't be my first time to NY, or a writing conference, but it will be my first time at an SCBWI event, and I'm super excited. I'm not thrilled about the cold weather, but I am looking forward to all the writing and book biz chat.
Will anyone else out there be attending? I'd love to meet more of my blogging world friends in person. Look for me. I'll be "the girl in the hat," and I will most likely have one or more of these smiling faces with me.
Woo hoo! Look out NYC, here we come!

Write. Read. Imagine. Create. Learn. Love. Live. Repeat.
Sounds sooo fun! I won't be there, but I'm determined to get to an SCBWI event this year. Maybe. Yeah, maybe. ;-)ReplyDelete
I'm jealous. I'd love to hit up a writing/book related conference in NY. I'm actually going to be trying to head out there at the end of this year for New Years Eve, for the whole ball-dropping thing. Hopefully it works out.ReplyDelete
Anyway, I'm still jealous :)
I'm sure you'll be inspired, entertained and illuminated. Have a great time. It seems impossible not to!ReplyDelete
J-E-A-L-O-U-S! Have a great time and then tell us all about it. :-)ReplyDelete
So cool! Have fun! I can't wait until I get to attend my first conference!ReplyDelete
Have so much fun!! I hope you'll tell us allllll about it :-) I think I'm going to the one in LA this summer, so I'll be looking to you for tips!ReplyDelete
Another vote of insane jealousy!! And I'm in VA--you'd think I could make it up to NY. How are the fees for this one? I'm planning on going to one in UT with decent conference fees, but there's the lodging, and the air fare. I actually check out flight prices daily...ReplyDelete
I'm not going, but have fun and good luck!ReplyDelete
Eeek! You're going to have soooo much fun! :-)ReplyDelete

Oh I'm so glad I found you too! Your blog is wonderful - love the photo of the gal hugging her book "friend." I am thrilled to death for ya'll to meet in NYC. That conference was such a turning point for me. I remember flying home, thinking "this is so what I want to do!" I can't wait to track your posts over the weekend. I hope ya'll can find time to give us a sneak peek or two.ReplyDelete
