INDIEgiving

I'm a day late, but better late than never, right? It's time for a little INDIEgiving.
INDIEgiving runs through today to November 25th ~ there's still time for you to get in on the fun!
Check out the Indelibles website to read more, join, and enter our group giveaway!

During this week, each participating blogger will reflect on her or his blessings and share something with visitors.  Some may choose to give away a book.  Some may choose to share the best piece of advice they wished they'd known before they published.  The choice of what to share will be as unique as the individual blogger.  The only requirement is that you open your heart in the spirit of thankfulness and giving.

I'm thankful for so many things: my health, the health of all my loved ones (extra fist pumps for Rooney--my beloved American bulldog--who is still alive and going strong after his battle with cancer, my amazingly supportive family and friends, our new house (and the fact that renovations are FINALLY almost done after working non-stop since the end of July), my dear, precious, and treasured readers (I love you more than words can express), the Indelibles who have taught me so much and been such a great support system, and to my generous Prince Charming/Peter Pan who not only recently bought me my fantastic and comfy writing chair, but who is having custom bookshelves WITH a ladder built in our home. (Dream come true!)

Rooney "supervising" the bathroom renovation.

My new cozy writing chair. (Lots of books will be written here.)

Not the actual bookcases (they are being built) but ours will look like this--except white.
I wish I could give away a writing chair like mine, or custom bookshelves, but until I win Powerball that just isn't gonna happen, so instead, I'm going to give away the next best thing...BOOKS!

GIVEAWAY ALERT!!!
Enter below for a chance to win either of my books: Tangled Tides or Grasping at Eternity. (Paperback signed by me).
Or, if you already have my books (or don't want them) you can choose any book by an Indelible member (past or current--I'll send you the list because it's over 30 authors to choose from.)

WHISPERS AT GHOST POINT

Ghosts, lighthouses, and past lives? Um, yes please.
Today I'm helping spread the word about a new release...

Whispers at Ghost Point
By Deanna Jewel
Deanna would like to tell you a little about the book...

This novel takes place in Wilmington, NC. We visited there a few years back and I fell in love with this city! The stroll down the boardwalk along the river is breathtaking! I hope that comes through in the novel and that I portray the excitement we saw there.

Join Dana as she learns about her past while working toward her future. The dangers that lurk at an abandoned lighthouse pull her into a past she was unaware of but also involves a man she's never met...in this lifetime. Can a ghost from her past destroy her future? Read on and find out.

I’d like to thank Karen for having me as her guest this week and for each one of you who stopped in to read. Be sure to get in on the contests below!

If you want to read an interview with Dana and learn more about her, click HERE. Thank you all for stopping in to meet Dana from Whispers at Ghost Point. I hope I’ve piqued your interest just a bit and if so, you can read Chapter One and watch the book trailer by clicking HERE.
Tour Contest:  Click HERE to get your entry in for the Grand Prize drawing on Dec 10th!

ROUGE by Leigh Moore

One of the newest Indelible members, Leigh Talbert Moore, whom I already adore, has a hot new release. Check it out!

Trapped in the underground theater world of 1890s New Orleans, Hale Ferrer has only one goal: escape. But not without Teeny, the orphan-girl she rescued from the streets and promised to protect. Freddie Lovel, Hale's wealthy Parisian suitor, seems to be the easy solution. If only his touch could arouse her interest like Beau's, the penniless stagehand who captures her heart. Denying her fears, Hale is poised to choose love until an evil lurking in their cabaret-home launches a chain of events that could cost her everything.

"A brilliant book that had me biting my nails and swooning and then dying a little because it was just fantastic." ~Jolene Perry, bestselling author of My Heart for Yours

Join the INDIEgiving Blogfest

Since it's the day after elections, we should all give thanks that Channing Tatum won the presidency and Ryan Gosling is his Vice President. All is right with the world.

What? The other guys won? Oh. Darn. Well, there's always next election.
So since I can't give thanks for the Tatum/Gosling 2012 campaign being a success, I'll give thanks for some other stuff. You should join me, because Oprah says if you give thanks every day then your grateful energy attracts more positivity into your life. Oprah would have made a good president too.

Okay, so here's the point of this post...

JOIN THE INDIE-GIVING BLOGFEST!

This blogfest will run from November 18-25 (the Sunday-to-Sunday surrounding Thanksgiving).

Although this is something we could do individually, banding together to share our blessings seemed like the right thing to do.  If you'd like to join us, add your name to the linky list and get your post ready for November 18th.  Whether you're an Indie author or just love reading Indie books, we hope you'll join us.  We can't wait to see what blessings have been bestowed upon you this year.

This blogfest is hosted by the incredible Indelibles, so go to this official post to add your name to the linky list. And have your best photo ready because we want to show off your smiling face.

Tweet about it, Facebook about it, post about it on your blog. All that positive grateful energy will payoff triple fold!
