It's Loveapalooza week on my blog so I thought I'd share some things I'm loving right now...
THE SAINTS WON THE SUPERBOWL
Who dat! I must say Drew Brees is a stand up guy. Quite literally a saint in more ways than one. As soon as the Ravens were no longer Superbowl contenders, I was on the Saints bandwagon. I teared up at the end of the game. What a great spirit lifter for New Orleans and all of Louisiana.
REESES DARK PEANUT BUTTER CUPS
We all need to feed our dark side every now and then. What better way than Reeses dark chocolate peanut butter cups. I didn't even know they made these until I was running out to get cold medicine Sat night, and my roomie asked if I'd check to see if they had these in stock. They did. So of course I had to try them, and oooohhh yum. They are sinister bites of heaven.
MY NEW STEAMPUNK CRUSH, KIT aka ANACHRONAUT
Okay he doesn't really consider his look "Steampunk" persay, in his words it's "more of an abstract 19th century cargo cult." The guy is a genius costume designer (and totally gorgeous I may add.) And I would LOVE to dress up in my best 19th century garb, tighten my bodice, dust off my parasol, and head out for a night in London with him.
I want to give thanks to author, Lisa Mantchev for tweeting his pic yesterday.
I also want to say that I'm loving the quotes, song lyrics, and crushes people have posted over at my LOVEAPALOOZA kick-off post. Click here to check it out and post your own favs, or enter to win lovey-dovey prizes.
So far I have already given a bonus entry to Heather for listing Jim Halpert from THE OFFICE as her crush. I love, love, love him and all the great facial expression he makes.
AND, Kristi Faith got a bonus entry for crushing on Edward Norton. Too many good movies to list, but come on, what a freakin' stud!
What about you? Did anyone fall in love over the weekend or just wanna mention someone or something that's put a bounce in their step or a twinkle in their eye lately?
HAPPY LOVEAPALOOZA!

I thought that baby was so cute.
ReplyDeleteRight now I'm loving my kids basketball teams, so much fun to watch since I can't play soccer right now.
My daughter fell for a boy. And I'm ready for her to fall out of it. ;)

Feel for my new favorite male character--Patch from hush, hush :)
ReplyDeleteSee? I'm back. I'm trying to be a better blog follower--especially because I love your blog!
ReplyDeleteSadly I didn't watch the superbowl (no time) but I was rooting for the Saints because I'm loyal to Reggie Bush (fellow trojans gotta stick together!)
Thanks for a great post!
I love laughing. Congrats to the Saints. I agree that it's great for Louisiana and esp. New Orleans.
ReplyDeleteOoo, I love Jim too. He's a cutie.
ReplyDeleteoooooo what IS this lovapalooza??? and how do I get in on it??? *off to read your blogs I missed while in Miami*
ReplyDeleteOo, the facial expression are EXACTLY what make Jim so adorable...love. Ed Norton is also super sexy. I like to watch American History X because he has his shirt off so much in it, even if he does have all those awful Nazi tattoos...
ReplyDeleteDark Reeses = yummy! I'm currently in love with Ben & Jerry's Peanut Butter Cup ice cream. :-)
ReplyDeleteHaven't been by your blog since your new look! Very cute! Love the threesome Beta M-N-M picture!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to have add a thumbs up to Edward Norton. I don't like him in the same way you ladies do, but I think he is a mighty fine actor who does a really good job at portraying a bad guy. Really liked him in THE ILLUSIONIST as well.
ReplyDeleteThose Reese's cups? Haven't tried them yet, but dark chocolate? Mmmm - they've got to be the best.
Lee
I think trying resses dark chocolate would put a bounce in my step. lol!
ReplyDeleteOMG, they make DARK Reese's Peanut Butter Cups? I'm in Australia, but I am absolutely in love with Reese's products, especially the mini peanut butter cups. It's just soooo hard to find them here :o(
ReplyDeleteMan, I chose a bad Friday to be gone. I'll have to go check it out. :)
ReplyDeleteI love all the love here! It's so...lovey? Mmm and I heart Jim too. :)
ReplyDeleteNot so recently but when I was writing NEAR EDGWARE one of my characters was coming out flat. He was supposed to be perceived as a threat, by a jealous Caleb, so flat was a bad thing.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was in Asda I saw a perfect teen boy out - reluctantly - shopping with his equally perfect Mum. I stalked them while making notes on their interaction - they were heaven sent. Matt Walton couldn't have become the tower he will be if I hadn't met the family out shopping
Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups FTW!
ReplyDeleteI have a "man crush" on the Saints' Tracy Porter for placing the proverbial dagger in the heart of the Colts chances for a super bowl win and making Peyton Manning sit on the sidelines pouting like a big girls blouse. Who DAT!
All this love is great! Makes me feel warm and mushy inside. :)
ReplyDeleteI am rather in love with Dr Carlisle Cullen. *simper*
Hi Karen Amanda,
ReplyDeleteI just read your post about Libba Bray and I want to print it out.
Such encouraging words...and I needed a few today.
Shelley
I'm in the same boat as Kelly. I LOVE LOVE LOVE all things Reeses, but Australia doesn't seem to have caught on to the whole chocolate and peanut butter happiness thing. Sigh! At least I finally found a store that carries Ben & Jerry's, even if the cost is painfully prohibitive.
ReplyDeleteAs for KIT aka ANACHRONAUT, he is totally hot, but he's also in denial. I don't care what he calls it, that look screams Steampunk! Makes me want to go read Jules Verne or something. :D
I just watched Return of the Jedi for the upteenth time, and my new crush of the day is Wicket. Ewoks rock! Or maybe I just need a new teddybear. I'm not sure...
I'll second that about Edward Norton in The Illusionist. Loved that movie!
ReplyDeleteI have an award for you at my blog:)
Still playing catch up. Love the Ray Bradbury quote that you heard from Libba Bray!
ReplyDeleteOh, and as for crushes, I love Paul Rudd. And Mark Ruffalo. And I definitely fell for Daniel Craig in the movie Defiance.
ReplyDeleteI want to have a twinkle in my eye, but I'm not sure I would be able to handle it.
ReplyDeleteReeses ROCK! My husband was hoping the Jets would have made it but they stink:)
