I have the privilege and honor of being part of The Sunshine Tour.
Several Florida authors are touring bookstores in Florida. (We might even wander into Atlanta and/or New Orleans.)

(at Ft Myers Barnes & Noble)
A couple weeks ago we hit Books & Books in Miami, and the next day we visited Barnes & Noble in Ft Myers. It's so much fun to hang and chat with readers (some of them are writers too--bonus!) and, of course, it's always a pleasure to be in the presence of great authors like: Danielle Joseph, Trish Doller, Heather Burch, JA Souders, Lucienne Diver, Christina Diaz Gonzalez, Jenny Torres Sanchez, and Gaby Triana.

Some of you may be wondering how I weaseled my way into such an amazing group. Truth is, I have Sarah Nicholas and Jenna DeTrepani (of Making The Grade) to thank for inviting me. They are the coordinators of this fabulous tour and seriously, they are AMAZING. I'm pretty sure they are secret superheroes.

Instead of babbling on and on I'll just share some pics....
(Books& Books panel about our books, writing process, and any other questions the audience had.)
(signing stock for Books & Books after the panel & signing)
(Me with Andy and Katering. My first EVER fans to show up at a signing. They had already read Grasping at Eternity and we fan-girled over each other. I love them to pieces.)
(Still surreal to see my books stacked high in Barnes & Noble.)
(Our bookmarks created by the talented Jenna.)
Next weekend we'll be at it again.
Saturday, March 2nd, we'll be at Barnes & Noble in Winter Garden.
Sunday, March 3rd, we'll be at Barnes & Noble in Clearwater.
One of my mermaid author sisters, Anna Banks will be joining us, and the badass Kristen Simmons. Be prepared for more pictures!
If you'd like to order signed and personalized books from any of us you can do so through the Sunshine Tour blog. Here's the link.
Looks awesome.
ReplyDeleteLooks like so much fun! I'm there with you in spirit. :)
ReplyDeleteWow! How fun. I love going to book events with more than one author, especially when it's clear they get along well.
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy it went well!
